Heard something really weird today from a very reliable source. UP is watching this whole NCRA/SMART debate with disgust. Word is that UP will basically repossess the line between Lombard and Eureka, send in a super gang and start rehabbing the line to ship lumber, timber and whatever else they can recover, this includes completely rebuilding the Willits Yard and waving bye bye to the stuff rusting away there. Said they'd have the suits right there at the same time handing out business cards to anyone who tries to object.
