Good question. I'm going to back off and say there are two or so running each way, with loads mostly running at night....we usually see one about 3:30am westbound. I don't know about dragging fewer loads, though. These are not "short" trains and they ave plenty of power, usually 2 or 3 units up frot, 2 on the back. M/Ts get one on the tail.

What is the difference in the cars?
