I've been thinking the same thing for a long time. people say i can keep resaving on newer computer software, but I also have to keep upgrading my sytem to operate the newe software. Its expensive, too! Film is expensive too, and I don't have a darkroom but i have a good slide projector. My projector doesn't "crash" like a computer, but the bulb is really really expensives. But I can't afford a good printer or inks or paper for my computer every few years, either. Hell!
