Hah hah----that one cracked me up as well. Is this what they call "artistic license"? :)
I also thought that the role of the school kids on the train would be somehow significant, but once the runaway went by them, that's the last we saw of them.
On a side note, I thought it was funny who the two "goofballs" were in the yard that made the runaway happen in the first place. Not the engineer---but the other guy---he was hilarious in a very short-lived TV show called, "Carpoolers" where he played Marmaduke.
