This is not the FRA or NTSB report on the accident but the report is the one filed as required by the BNSF to the FRA for the monthly report of train accidents and incidents as required by 49 CFR part 225, but as stated the crew of the eastbound( south train) failed to comply with the signal indications and ran a red block striking the Westbound( north train) as it was heading into the siding at Kismet, loss of situational awareness or HUA on the part of the crew of the eastbound train.
