Hello to all.
My .02 as at "contributed" to what went wrong at Kismet.
1. Did the engineer on the north bound train get a complete initial terminal air test (set the brakes, inspect every car, release the brakes, inspect every car) prior to departure Calwa aka Fresno ?
2. What was the max speed for that train with regard to outstanding subdivision instructions tonnage per operating brake? (tonnage of cars divided by number of cars in train.)
3. Was this (intended) stop the first time the Engineer had the opportunity to use the train brake system while in motion?
Just some things to be considered.
