Dude, you need do a little research American Labor History. There never was a "Coal Miners Union." The major union representing coal mine workers was the United Mine Workers of America formed in 1890. Prior to the formation of the UMWA, there was the American Miners Association and the Workingmen's Benevolent Association representing miners.
