A) My name is not 'Dude '. In fact you stated my correct name at the beginning of your post.
B) What is your REAL name, please ???
C) My use of the term " Mine Workers Union " was a generic version of The United Mine Workers of America, and its' predecessors. I don't believe anyone thought otherwise, yourself included.
D) I have in my library several books on the history of the American Labor Movement, as well as books specific to the Anthracite Coal Industry in N.E. Pennsylvania.( My father was born & raised in Scranton. )
And to Steve Sloan; I considered the question a legitimate one, for the reasons the original poster stated.
