Some of the log traffic would have been the burned over harvest off the Indian Reservations. Which have all been salvaged by now and the U.S. Forest Service won't allow proper care of the forests even after they have allowed them to burn up. Just look at the Tahoe Fiasco. Wonder if they will get smart and allow any salvage before the dead and down trees get beatles, this time. I would think the other contributor might be the rate structure on rail rates. Both BNSF and UP seem to discourage small movements of anything. Andy
