Logs are still hauled out of Sheridan, WY to the west. I believe these are currently going to the Plum Creek facility in Pablo, MT on the Polson Branch of MRL. Ironically, I bought some lumber at the local Home Depot that was stamped "Plum Creek - Pablo". Full circle....
