Great idea on the ledge, but I do want to pass on a heads-up. I've done some photography from that ledge as well as some restoration of the rockface, painting out grafitti that some moron sprayed up there one year. (I call it "re-naturalizing" it). And I want to point out that that rock is some crumbly talus-type rock that you really have to be careful of where you place your feet. I was standing there shooting a shot when a piece of seemingly solid ledge beneath my foot just flat-out gave way and my foot dropped, hit the next ledge piece, and wrenced my ankle over sideways the worst I've ever felt. Talk about letting out a thunderous Sasquach holler--yikes~! That hurt like heck, and if I had not been able to grab a rock and catch my foot on the next piece of ledge, I'd have tumbled down the rock wall in a very unkind skull-banging manor. So, seriously, always remember that the Cascades rock walls are a crumbly, loose type of rock that can not be trusted, so make sure of your footing and have an escape route planned should you experience a ledge crumbling out from under you like I did. That said, I agree with Martin that it's a great angle and you can get some different and nice shots there.
