Same with Amtrak at Oakland. They keep hiring managers but won't hire any new agreement employees. You know, the ones who actually run the railroad. They have now hired a consultant to snoop around and harass the labor force about their time management, work, etc, to find out where all their money goes and to tell us how to do our jobs. Pretty sure after all these years, me and everyone else knows how to do our jobs. They rip on us about overtime while not completely staffing the facilities at SJ, Gilroy and Oakland.
Worse off, 6 months ago management gave themselves an 11% raise and bonuses in excess of $30,000 in some cases.
