Finding a US&S 1911 in all original configuration is extremely rare and the price the guy had I'm sure reflected that.

I agree that if you're a railfan and a firearms enthusiast, then a US&S 1911 is one of the ultimate collectibles to be had.

I'd have on too except that they're always so damned expensive, and for good reason.
