Your fine color image reminds me of a little known bit of info Bill...there was at least one engineer who worked that job who preferred that the engine face East instead of West as in your photo. So they got clearance and ran light all the way down to Beardsley and turned on the balloon there, ran light back to Soap Creek and did their switching. Doggone it, I cannot come up with the name sorry.
