Regarding the Altamont Pass high speed rail route article, in the San Jose Mercury - News, the following quote is of interest to me: " Many people who commute over Altamont may just park their car in Tracy & take the train."
As opposed to RIGHT NOW, when they can take Altamont Commuter Express ??? Do these HSR planners live in a parallel universe, devoid of any ontside news & information ???
