Yes George, they seem to live in a universe where up is down, backward is forward, and you just get to make stuff up.

CHSRA consultants seem primarily to get paid a lot of taxpayer money for looking cool at useless meetings, producing bloated designs, fabricating useless business plans, creating failed financial analysis, and conducting meaningless and useless public outreach, all with no apparent taxpayer oversight, and no consequences for repeated incompetence and malfeasance. CHSRA is still a completely dysfunctional, misgoverned, unresponsive, and out of control organization, and it continues to show.

The Union Station purchase decision could be seen as a good sign by some, but of what, we still don't know? Fundamental reform is still needed at CHSRA, and soon, if we are ever to see anything worthwhile produced by this still completely dysfunctional organization.
