I'm not sure about the non - turbo status of those units; they have GP - 50 / 60 hoods & I don't see evidence of dual stacks. Although most diesels will clear their throat after idling for awhile, I'm gonna go with the opinion that one of the units has a mechanical problem, maybe blowing water out as mentioned.
