Psychedelic Grain Train

In Tacoma at the grain elevator off Schuster Parkway, I see trains made up of matching, 3-bay cylindrical hoppers (maroon BNSF, or gray CP). These hoppers are all uniform and the same in appearence and color. I see these trains frequently. But there's another grain train - it's made up of what look like to be, older, mismatched 3-bay cylindrical and 3-bay ribbed hoppers of all different colors and markings.

What is the story here? Why this mismatched train when all the others are uniform? Where does this train originate?

I'm guessing it's a collection of smaller shippers combined into one train(?).

Also, I believe soybeans are shipped out of that terminal, what part of the country is shipping soybeans?
