We are gradually doing a cosmetic restoration of the 652 so that we can at least tow it behind 654 and simulate a double header. Last year we built and installed a pantograph, and are working on new air tanks to go on the cab roof. These were among many parts removed to keep 653 and 654 running.
Our volunteer who has "adopted" 652 has also built and installed new headlight resistors so that the headlights work, and is working on the cab interior and air compressors.
As to getting it actually running, that will take time, money, parts (including a traction motor), etc..
