Pickering caboose 04 to Niles Canyon Ry.

I don't have all the particulars, but former Pickering Lbr. Corp. home made wooden caboose 04, which has been on private property in San Leandro since the mid '60s, has been donated to the PLA. Plans are to move it to Niles Canyon.
Warren Smith purchased it from scrapper Harry Surprise and was able to move it on its own wheels over the W.P. to its present site. He recently sold it to a Gary Smith (no relation). Gary generosly has donated it to PLA.
Should look nice behind Clover Valley Lbr. Co. 2-6-6-2T #4 when she gets done.
