There is a wye at Easton that was either built new or refurbished during the 1996 rebuild of the line. It is probably intended to turn snowplow equipment. Whether it could handle 4449 or not I don't know.

When Amtrak ran an excursion to Cle Elum a few years ago they took the train on to Bristol and ran the power around the train. They had a loco pointing each way so they didn't need to turn the power.
