Green & Cream in Iowa

Hoping that somebody can possibly help with this...while driving West on US 20 in Iowa a week ago Friday, I glimpsed what I thought was a former A&C GP-30. Can't come up with an exact location. Loco was coupled to a few cars, but I saw no ground crew or engine exhaust, they could have been tied-up.
Weather was pretty dismal, so I didn't try to stop and shoot it. Would appreciate any info on this, thank you.
