There were too many to choose from, but some outstanding candidates were Santa Fe's "Puye" from the 1938 Chief and "La Mirada" that ultimately ran on Rock Island/SP Golden State (after the Golden Rocket didn't materialize). The Q's and Rock Island's pre-war diner-parlor-observation cars were also uniquely versatile cars that served numerous assignments.
