If at all possible could you share the photos you took? Since I was a kid walking around the remains of the Dynamite plant as we called it, I always was obsessed with the narrow gauge. Few people realize about 100 feet of track remained until late 2000 up in the are of the machine shops and Admin. building. Today, this is the location of apartments and the Powder Keg. bar and Oyster Grill which has several photos of the narrow gauge on their menu and walls.
I am pleased to finally hear that the gauge was 3 feet. I had never seen any confirmation and much like Key Route Ken, the gauge looked closer to 2 feet maybe. I was 15 in 2000 and didn't think to take measurements or "souvenirs" something I deeply regret today.
Where exactly did the narrow gauge ROW pass under US40/I80?
