Well, I didn't actually chase. Just sat on a bluff for 4 hours. It sure was a beautiful day to be watching trains and the River. Took 117 pictures. If I was shooting film I probably would have shot less that 50. BNSF action was heavy on the mainline but also there was one off and one on the Oregon Trunk. UP provided only three trains.

Riding vs. chasing. Over the years I have done both. I consider the pictures from chasing as freebees on the riders' nickles. However, I have very few pictures from on-board that are very good.
