In addition to the restored units, we still have quite a
few additional reminders, such as signals, bridges, and
stations.
Interestingly enough, it's these very structures that
make the restored units all that more appealing as it
puts it all into perspective.
Several DL&W stations exist in PA and NJ, as well as a
few freight houses. A synchronicity of events put it all
together for me starting with the DL&W F's, following
through to a visit to see the
Camelback at the Museum in
St. Louis, coming back full circle to the structures within
the Steamtown yards, in addition to the nearby DL&W
station in Scranton which is now a
Radisson Hotel.
