Answer to Freericks

Charles, to be accurate I should have said L'Enfant Promenade. About 1970 this area of DC was rebuilt with office buildings and a hotel so it may have been different in your railfanning days. This Google Map below shows where I took the picture. The bus turnaround has been replaced by a building so the shot is probably not possible now.
