Todd, You're correct. The movie used the #19 in the freight scenes and the #5 to haul the passenger trains. However, the #5 also carried the #27 on a few of its numberboards during the filming.

The #19 also appeared in at least two scenes of Stand By Me, but not in the railroad scene that most people remember from that film.
