SP removed its train schedules in late 1979 or early 1980 when I was in training. For amusement, here is a copy of a train order I put out on August 18 (1980 if I the smudged date stamp correctly). Several of these trains had work at Oxnard so I had to put out a series of firm meets rather than some waits. Interesting to see the power operating that night; 7201:GP40X; 9259:SD45T-2; SD45:8833; SD40R: 7309. The last unit, by the way is now up for auction in Western Australia along with several other former SP units.
