Brownsville-Everett Run

Of the few trains caught in the last couple of days, The BNSF southbounds have been a little long. In fact, one I had caught yesterday was 122 cars (roughly 6200').

For those who know the area, I was driving on South Fraser Way crossing Old Yale Road, noticed a train on the CN interchange track. Kept driving south to Tannery Road, and noticed the train was as far down the tracks as I could see, into Brownsville. I kept driving to Elevator Road, and turned to go across the tracks there. I was parked on the west side of the tracks to await the train that was about 600' away from me. It was moving about 15-20mph (had a CSX GEVO unit in the consist) and throttled up out of the industrial area. I think it was a Brownsville-Pasco train, but I cant be certain-and I was in awe to the length of it. Lots of tank cars and SRY boxcars.

Have any of the sidings been extended on the line?

Thanks,
almo
