Amtrak SW Chief messed up time/sched chg?

There is evidence suggesting that Amtrak's Southwest Chief, Train 4(5), messed up the time/schedule change on Sunday morning Nov. 6 and may have operated early between Kingman and Winslow, AZ., leaving behind reserved, ticketed passengers.

Passengers who missed the train at Williams Jct. and Flagstaff and still wanted to ride (some cancelled instead) were carried by van to Winslow.

The Train Status at amtrak.com offers some small hints (as does the vans' being able to depart Flagstaff after the train, but arrive Winslow ahead of it) as well as conflicting data, but there's more information that may tend to confirm.
