In the meantime, OERM has been able to afford to paint equipment at a rate that was unheard of 10 years ago. In the last five years, the following pieces from across the collection have been repainted: ATSF 60, ATSF Stock Car, PE 717, LARy 3100, SP 3100, SP 2144, SD&AE 175, UP Diner, Pullmans Bison Peak and Corydon.
Next on the list are UP 942, UP Pullman National Scene, SDERy 508, ATSF 98 (108), SP 1006, PE 498, & LARy 2601.
LARy 525 is currently being repainted by volunteers.
IRM may be the only other museum in the U.S. that produces at this rate. This tremendous progress continues to need your support. Please consider helping out.
