1. Those SoCal cars look very loco-like, also reminiscent of BART's cyclopean A cars.
2. Is the all-rear-facing seat arrangement unique to the cab cars, or is it used throughout the train? If it's unique to the cab cars, what's the seating setup in the other cars?
