Stupid Truck Drivers incompetence, Tax Payers Loss & Metrolinks gain

Yesterday in East Los Angeles on the 60 (Pomona Freeway) a tanker truck had his brakes catch fire on the tractor and in a moment of brilliance the stupid driver decides to stop under the Paramount Blvd overpass and run away from his rig
The tanks burned and damaged the overpass and shut down both sides of the 60
It will be the weekend before the freeway is open (at the earliest)
No doubt the trucking company won’t have enough insurance to cover all the damage and delays and taxpayers will get stuck with the bill
At least Metrolink and the Gold line are getting an increase in business
