...the Internet didn't "create" buffoons like this guy; it simply gave them another means for their voices to be heard. Thirty years ago, he'd have been the guy who sent in that stupid comment you saw in the "letters to the editor" column of this morning's newspaper; today, he's the character who made that stupid, pointless, and/or cruel remark in the "comments" section following that online article about the family of four that was killed by a drunk driver.

Idiots like this jerk have been around forever, and they will always find a way to make themselves heard, regardless of whether anybody's even listening.
