Here's a few more ideas: lengthen your curve spirals a little bit,then add some gage plates.Start at the end of tangent and put about 4 gage plates spaced every 10 ties at both ends of the curve.You can custom make those 9020 gage plates in your shop-mill the 9020 railbase into 1" sheet steel and weld on pandrol fasteners then drill 1" holes for 15/16 screw fasteners.Since you don't need insulation you should be able to build a bunch of them! If you don't want to mess with gage plates try double clamp gage rods and a few more oak ties.
