Can't personally believe it has anything to do with radius navigation. The tracks feeding into the west end of the Commerce shop have a SUPER tight radius and they push/pull dead SD60's and such all the time (or did when I was there). There was only one power derailment when I was there and it was an SD60 that picked a point on a switch I had mentioned to management as looking loose three days previous...
