All non-UP units from their 1990's merger spree are assigned UP numbers and have been from the beginning. The reason this unit hasn't been patched is pure luck and probably due to the fact that UP isn't patching units anymore. With only about 2 dozen unpatched units left, I think UP just doesn't care anymore. They are still repainting ex-SP AC4400s, which are the majority of unpatched units. With over 7,000 units on its roster, a few misfits aren't even noticed anymore.
