According to postings elsewhere, passengers are not being allowed to get off the train at the former SP Bakersfield depot for either a smoke break or to detrain because the northbound detour trains are stopping on the second track from the depot. This was different than on the southbound detour trains last spring, which stopped on the track next to the depot and passengers were allowed off the trains.
