A very good Winterail. I liked all the shows and Mel Patrick's was the best. If I had to be critical about something, the Fillmore & Western show felt like a paid advertisement.

I also didn't care for the narration of the Joel Jensen show. Had that pompous ass vibe to it. He started with some comment about steam locomotives having dignity and that dignity captured his interest (something like that). Kind of a weird comment. He lamented the loss of industrialization in the United States and a semi-rant about how tourist railroads do not open their shops for kids to see. I wish the show presenters would keep such remarks to themselves. One reason I attend Winterail is to get away from the other 364 days of the year I spend contemplating all the problems of the world.

Please don't ruin our escape by @#$%& about the hobby and the world to a large audience please...
