I have it straight from the horse's mouth, the Trains Mag editor of some 10 years ago, that they receive a large number of complaints every time they run a story on a foreign topic.

I had asked whether they'd be interested in an article on the remaining steam operations in China. He responded with an apology that since they had recently covered the Wolsztyn, Poland operation they dared not run another foreign story anytime soon.
