Oh, I forgot to mention, I have been selected to ride the inaugural run and was asked to bring a couple of guys with me. So, I asked two of my old RR buddies Larry "SPLoopConductor" Fredeen and Jim "San Joaquin Engineer" Guerin to go along. All 3 of us, at one time or another, worked the old PE Santa Monica AirLine job. In my case, I not only worked the AirLine job, but also the Santa Monica local, which was on duty at Sentous yard in Culver City, CA. and did the switching of the various branchs in that area.
