There's also the option (as if all 3 railroads could get together to pull of an "option") to pull off of the MRL at Sandpoint Jct (and out onto the bridge with part of the train), them back onto the BN Kootenai River Sub to Boyer, then off onto the ex-GN towards Newport to the UP connection (proper) at Dover. Fun times.
