Pyramid scheme, heh? You're sadly misinformed about the US Railroad Retirement System. This isn't the first time the politicians have cried wolf on a subject they know nothing about. I worked over 35 years before retirement and I can't see working in the Operating Dept until 65 or 70. Most of trainmen wore our bodies out years before our time and paid into ths system for more than social security folks ever did. The fund is solvent and is overseen by joint committee of Labor and Managment. It doesn't cost the tax payers one thin dime. So stay the hell away from it Mr. Ryan and the rest of you tea bagging idiots.
