Just last month a woman walking her dog on the tracks in Aptos was stopped by a Union Pacific employee and threatened with a citation and jail time if she did not leave immediately. It’s a common sight to see residents walking on the ROW. Everyone has to take responsibility for his or her own actions. You take your chances and have to live with them. I hope Sandy Lydon tells her customers they are subject to fines and arrest if they are caught on the ROW during her $65.00 tour. Maybe the UP police will just wait at one of the trestles so they can use Sandy Lydon’s tour bus to take the entire group to jail.
