Urban Clark County has its challenges like any urban area. There is a meth problem. There is a problem keeping C-Tran, the bus line, funded. There are plenty of pleasant neighborhoods, and people are friendly. Vancouver lacks many of the pretensions of Portland, but it also lacks in sophistication. It also has a bridge problem. Getting across the Columbia can be a pain. But I would move back there in a heartbeat.
