Flickr says "direct" linking violates their policy, and they try to discourage direct linking. If you don't know how to work around their limitations, just post a "clickable" link to your image or album.

To post a clickable link, just bring the image up on your screen, then highlight the URL at the top of the browser and copy and paste it here. After you paste it, but before you post the message to this site, the link will be similar to this:

http:/www.flickr.com/photos/23065916@N04/6866996342/
and result in this, after posting:
[www.flickr.com]

Note the link above is just an example, it is not the photo that Bill K was attempting to display. (although it is a Tidewater Southern photo.)
