I have carried a gun (a Colt .38 Det. Special or a Kimber .45) in most of the cities you listed as well as most of the rural areas of the Western States. At times, I have carried what gun grabbers like you call "assault weapons"---my stars I am a violent son of a @#$%& (and if you had ever met my mother you would know how true that is). One time I was physically attacked North of Owosso, MI in 2009---lucky for the guy who laid hands on me, that was one time I was not armed or I would have killed him.
