The Richfield (Thomes Creek) bridge was repaired over two years ago. It was sagging in the middle, UP and CFNR crews (yes, UP was there) repaired the cement pillar and also fix other issues with the bridge. It has seen a few movements, in 2010 they pulled out a bunch of stored baretables and took them to the UP interchange in Davis. There was a light power movement after that to see what the condition of the rail was. In April 2011 CFNR started storing centerbeams for the UP and earlier this year in April 2012 they pulled all 200 + centerbeams south of the bridge to let a weed sprayer spray for weeds (FRA required) between Corning and the Tehama Wye, then they shove the c-beams right back to where they were after they were threw spraying.
