Howard,

No, I never shot anything at the sand plant or anywhere else on the branch. I always wanted to but freights ran during the day on weekdays and I had this strange interference with photography called a job. Also, back then, information as to when they were running was hard to come by. It was plastered all over the internet---oh, wait, there was no internet!

One time in the early or mid-90's, I saw to GP9's heading in there but I was pulling a loaded set of doubles that I had to get back to San Jose asap so no photos---of course I didn't have a camera either.
